With reference to our letter of the 12th of

February 1914, I have the honour to enclose a valuation

of the stocks held by this office us security for the note

iusue of the Lercantile Bank of India in Hong Kong,

together with a copy of a letter from that Bank as to the

notes in circulation and the amount of coin deposited

with the Colonial Treasurer on the 1st of January 1915.

The value of the securities exceeds the amount
